Streetwise

Streetwise is a partnership project between Maccabi GB and CST that works across the Jewish community. The project offers a range of programmes and workshops, enhancing the personal safety and personal development of young Jewish people and supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing. Covering the whole of Great Britain, Streetwise delivers a broad educational curriculum in over 65 Jewish and non-Jewish primary and secondary schools, communal organisations, youth movements and through leadership programmes.

Each year, Streetwise reaches over 27,000 young people, engaging them in informal education sessions based on the National Curriculum subjects of PSHE (Personal Social Health Education) and RSE (Relationships & Sex Education), supported by and in partnership with a number of national organisations and educational charities. Streetwise also delivers contemporary antisemitism, personal safety and Krav Maga workshops for young people in the Jewish community, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to keep themselves safe and better protected.
