Leket Israel, the National Food Bank, is the leading food rescue organisation in Israel, providing surplus food—including hot meals and fresh agricultural produce—to more than 415,000 people in need every week. All the food we rescue, whether prepared meals or fruit and vegetables, is saved from destruction or landfill. In 2024, with the help of 95,000 dedicated volunteers, Leket Israel collected and distributed over 2.084 million hot meals and more than 31,400 tonnes of fresh produce.
